Set amid rolling hills and within walking distance of the stunning Jurassic coast, Monkton Wyld Court has hosted events for adults, children and families for 70 years. Visitors return time and time again - often just to relax as B&B guests. As well as workshops and family weeks, we teach skills for sustainable living: permaculture, eco-building, 'green' technologies, sustainable land use and environmental crafts.

Leave your car behind and come by train! Our nearest railway station is Axminster, on the main London Waterloo to Exeter line. Taxis should be pre-booked: phone 07900 698569 or 01297 35007 (approx £12 one-way).
The

bus
(Axminster to Lyme Regis) stops at the Hunters
Lodge pub in Raymonds Hill, a pleasant thirty
minutes' walk away from here. Alternatively,
bicycles may be left at the station for your use
with prior notice.
By road
We are four miles from Charmouth, Axminster and
Lyme Regis.
The hamlet of
Monkton Wyld
is signposted from the A35 halfway between
Charmouth and Axminster. You'll find the Court
just opposite St Andrews Church.
The nearest coach stop is in Bridport, 10 miles away.
Lift-sharing
We
strongly encourage course participants and
volunteers to share lifts whenever possible. If
you would like to get in touch with others on
your course to arrange ride shares, please let us
know in advance.
