Bed and Breakfast
Monkton Wyld Court offers a unique style of B&B, full- or half-board accommodation. Extend your stay before or after one of our courses or enjoy an alternative base from which to explore the area's coast and countryside.
An assortment of twin/double rooms and family rooms with up to six beds overlook our beautiful grounds and the surrounding Dorset hills. We are happy to accommodate single guests, families and larger groups. While there are no en-suite facilities, all rooms are close to toilets, showers and bath. Put your feet up and relax in our Piano Room with wood fire and beautiful bay window view.
For breakfast, help yourself to cereal, muesli, oats for porridge, milk, soya or rice milk. Cook eggs from our own hens to your taste and enjoy a selection of organic spreads, herbal teas and other hot drinks. Lunch and supper are available by reservation. Our food is vegetarian and organically grown, much of it right here in our garden.
Monkton offers a range of atmospheric options from peaceful to bustling, depending on the day. A stroll through the grounds highlights local biodiversity, and written guides to longer area walks are available on request. Nearby beaches like those at Charmouth and Lyme Regis are ideal for fossil hunting, wildlife spotting and beautiful views. The historic market towns of Bridport and Axminster are also just up the road.

Our stay there, although short, has made a big impression on us. It was very interesting for us to see how you live as a community and all the things you do, and it has really made us think about what we want for us as a family and how we would like to live with others and within the environment.
