We offer a unique brand of both B&B and full-board accommodation that you can enjoy before or after attending a course or as an alternative base to explore the surrounding coast and countryside.

We have twin/double rooms and a range of family rooms with up to 6 beds. The rooms overlook our beautiful grounds and the rolling Dorset hills. We do not have en-suite facilities, but the rooms are close to toilets and bathrooms. We are also happy to accommodate single guests. During your stay, you also have the use of a large sitting room with grand piano (the Piano Room), a well-stocked library, and our beautiful grounds.

Breakfast at Monkton is "do-it-yourself" - we supply cereals, home-made muesli, oats for porridge-making, local organic milk, soya milk, eggs from our own hens for you to cook to your taste, bread for toasting plus a selection of spreads, a range of herbal teas and other hot drinks. Lunch and supper can be provided on request. All our food is vegetarian and most of it is organically grown.

The Monkton experience is a subtle blend of peace and quietude, with friendly company and busy activity, and you can find your own balance, according to what you need or prefer. Our grounds provide space for contemplation, and we can provide details of local walks. The local beaches, eg Charmouth and Lyme Regis, offer a rich variety of environments to explore, ideal for fossil hunting, wildlife spotting or just taking in the beautiful views.

We offer a 20% discount if you are staying immediately before or after attending a workshop here, or if you are an ex-pupil of Monkton Wyld School.
